I suppose I should be grateful for the truly unprofessional and impolite behavior my wife encountered when she drove up to have my car serviced, as we were required then to find a supplier of oil, et. al. change services where the purveyors were polite, efficient, effective and speedy. When my wife drove into this ‘establishment,’ signage seemed to indicate to drive around to the back for the entrance to the work bays. She did so and stopped in front of one (1) of two (2) empty bays and waited for an attendant to initiate the service. An associate made a twirling motion with his index finger which she believed indicated that she needed to move to the other bay. She did. Another attendant then came to the car and told her, somewhat abruptly, that she needed to drive around to the front of the building, park, and bring her keys and her problem into the office. When she drove to the front, there were no available parking spaces. She stopped in front of one of the empty bays, only to be accosted by yet another attendant, who told her she couldn’t be there. When she pointed out that she couldn’t park in a parking space as there were none available, he told her, again somewhat abruptly, to park on the side of the business, in an area that would have restricted free access for the business next door. She told him what she needed to be done and was told, again abruptly, (ABRUPT seems to be a theme; possibly their de facto method of dealing with customers) that there were ‘a lot’ of people ahead of her (again, with two [2] then empty work bays and, as it turned out, several associates standing idle), and that the wait would be between one and a half (1½) and two hours. My wife, significantly weary of ‘ABRUPT’, departed and went to another oil et. al. change business where the personnel were polite, efficient and speedy. Our car was taken directly into a work bay, the work (brake flush service and automatic transmission service) was initiated immediately and was completed in approximately forty-five (45) minutes. She was quite pleased by both the customer and automotive service. Thus, we now have a new, more efficient and high-quality supplier of these services.Consequently, we are truly grateful to the first (they of this review) ‘establishment’ for their impolite, abrupt and significantly less than professional quality customer service; it forced us to look elsewhere, and we now have a professional, polite, efficient and effective service supplier. Thanks again.
